Fragments from the lives of our adopted animals
Share
We started with 1 female rabbit 14 years ago. She was very good and clean and also left the cables and wires in her room. So she had free access to all the rooms. Her name was Ňufka and we don't have her anymore.
Then we got another rabbit as a gift and then we had some babies - once there were even 6 of them (Murphy's Law worked - it happened at a completely inappropriate, crisis time, but we somehow managed it).
A girl moved into our new home with us and so that she wouldn't be sad, we got her a friend... The original girl also left us after a short time.
We wanted to give up on rabbits. We weren't thinking about getting a new one, but the sight of the sad rabbit girl was unbearable.
As they say, we got soft. And since we had adopted a cat from the shelter in the meantime, we also went to the shelter to get a female rabbit (so that they wouldn't breed - there were already too many of them).
Both are very nice and the cats, of which there are now more, come to visit them in their corner (because these girls won't leave the wires, cables, fur and other things alone - Ňufka was an exception)
YES, cats and rabbits get on well together.
And no, I don't run a shelter. We don't offer cats or rabbits for adoption.
Instead of bred pets, we preferred animals that got into trouble and we try to provide them with a nice life until their natural death, or until life forces us otherwise.
Which we wouldn't like, so when the situation got complicated, I asked the public for support. That's all.
You can show your support by making a small donation on my donation page - the link can be found in the footer, along with a photo of our older cats.
Thank you very much for supporting the care of adopted animals.
